Martin conducted a new Swan Lake co-production of the Varna and Krasnoyarsk ballet companies at the legendary Varna Summer Theatre, home to the oldest international ballet competition in the world. Martin conducted the orchestra of the Varna Opera House in his native city Varna, Bulgaria, in this co-production by Russian choreographer Sergei Bobrov which opened on 9 August 2018 at the Varna Summer Theatre, featuring dancers from the Varna State Opera and Ballet Company and the Krasnoyarsk Ballet company from Russia and guest dancers from UK, Italy and Spain.
